a busy thursday

yesterday was a busy day for me. sa lakwatsa, that is. went to khobar and it turned out to be a two-part gimik where first, i had dinner with my suhaimi friends in my newfound fave cool and chic resto along pepsi road.

then i joined the adiks' welcome party for ren's family na kararating lang from pinas a week ago, together with maccoy's family who lives just next door in their ikea-inspired (and furnished, hehehe) flats somewhere near the philippine school in khobar.

i'll do a separate post for the dinner part where i'd do the ranting and raving (and rating!) about the place like i normally do. for now, yong second part muna. here are some pix of the dinner at masayang chikahan...

alec ni mccoy, sofie ni ricky and vince ni ren

('twas a challenge to keep them still, as in ginawang trampoline ang kama! ang kukulit ng mga cute na bulilit! hihihi)

doting kuya si vince with his bunso baby valerie while sofie's gone tired of the doll but not the trampoline bed! hahaha!

thanks a lot po to ren and mccoy and their family for welcoming us to their homes. it was worth the long travel to and from jubail. plus the extra 50km or so after getting lost in the highway coz we missed the jubail exit. isang oo ko lang at siguro, nag-breakfast kami somewhere in riyadh! but to chuck's dismay, i didn't. nakakaawa na kasi ang driver na inaatake ng a.... antok! hehehehe. better luck next time chuck!
